Article Library

Please find below a growing list of articles that pertain to subjects that reflect the rich diversity of Southern history.  Just as our forefathers were vanquished, so too have the truths of Southern history.  To the conquering hoard go the spoils of war.  History would be recorded by them to justify their acts and vilify their enemy.  But Southerners, true to their ancestry, will not give up; we will continue to honor our ancestors, remember their valor, and grieve our dead.  We will remember the atrocities of war in hopes that by remembering them they shall not repeat themselves.  We will remember Southern culture, its art, its literature, and its music, and the contributions each has had on American society at large.   We are, and will continue to be, proud of our accomplishments and must always stand strong in the face of adversity and seemingly overwhelming odds, for perseverance and victory will always share the same shadow.
